She said “I do”

On May 4th ,2013 in Marshal, Arkansas a new couple was united to be together forever.  After dating for 5 years and a life time of being friends, Alison Taylor and her husband; Earnest Taylor, finally decided to let their love be known to all the world.  While taking a hike on Mt. Nebo together Mr. Taylor popped the big question.  “Shut up, your kidding!,” was Alison’s response before she realized she had to get it together.  Her response shocked and confused her husband but of course the answer was definitely yes. The day is marked as one of a lifetime to the happy couple even with a couple of minor altercations that occurred. Mrs. Taylor would have never imagined that on her wedding day in May that snow flakes would fall.  Aside from the snow, the day was unforgettable. From the 1st dress being the one dress, to the sweet success of making it down the aisle without falling, or to the astonishing honeymoon condo in Florida; it is all marked a memorable experience for Alison Taylor.

“Don’t get stressed out, at the end of the day you will be married. Don’t let the wrongs go noticed, remember it’s your special day so just enjoy it.” – Alison Taylor

The MMA Fighter

After mixed martial art fighting caught his eye on television, and after constantly nagging his Grandmother, he was finally able to get involved with MMA fighting.  Tristan Williams has broke every other bone through training or while he was fighting in the ring.  One of his biggest inspirations is MMA fighter Anderson Civia, also known as “The Spider”.  Would you believe that he stayed in a tree for fours to kill a deer with only a knife. I could not believe it either!

“Never give up! If you give up and lose hope than you will never win! Believe in yourself! “

Victoria Bly

Meet Victoria Bly! Taking a look at her you would not realize that her life right now is not supposed to even exist.  Born prematurely at only 29 weeks, she came into the world struggling.  She died three times the day she was born. While being born a problem she encountered was that not enough oxygen flowed to her brain, which led to her having birth effects.  It caused her to have cerebral palsy and she also has two hearing aids in both ears. Aside from her rocky beginning she is attending college and is studying fishers and wildlife biology. Something else surprising about her is that every couple of years she gets to have a birthday on Super Bowl Sunday! She is looking forward to her 21st birthday and to enjoy it taking drinks and watching some football.

She’s been through a lot and sometimes it seemed more than she thought she could bare at the time.  When she reflects back on her birth she just realizes that others have it worse.

“If I can do it and not complain than you can do it too! Just keep smiling:) ” -Victoria Bly

Meet your blogger!

Well Hello there! My name is Aysia Jackson and for my first blog ever, I figured that I would tell you about myself and the plans I have in store for my blog.  First off to imagine or get an idea about me I am a very happy, smiling, and loving person. I love to talk, travel, meet new people, and do all kinds of things, simply because it makes life worth living. I try  to always stay positive about life and of course like any other human being sometimes I do fail to live that up, but I always get back on track and that’s what matters most. My blog is called *Our Great Big World* and the title says it all.  In such a big world we are very modest to who, what, and the things that surround us.  My blog will simply introduce to you one person, place, or thing at a time that is apart of our great big world.
